The story starts off with half dog demon named Inuyasha stealing the jewl of four soul tearing his way though the village.
He had finally found a way with the Shikon jewl could make him a full blooded deomon. Suddenly from out of no where a young
preistess named Kikiyou shot inuyasha with one of her magical arows pining him to a tree. Inuyasha fell into a deep sleep.
Kikiyou died a mysterous death that same day.
Meanwile, 50 years later... Kagome was just an average teenage girl, going to an ordinary school, in modern day Japan.
Until one day on her 14th birthday. It started off normal. Her grandpa had given her a mummified hand of Kappa which she feed
to Buyo, her cat. On her way to school; she spotted her little brother, Sota in the family shrine which held an ancient and
mystical well stood. I would seem that Sota had lost the cat down in the shrine. Kagome had bravely volunteered because Sota
was too spooked to go down. But after Kagome had found Buyo a strange sound was string from within the well. Then the doors
of the well burst open and a centipede- like demon called mistress centipede snatched Kagome and pulled her down the well,
down into some kind of portal, leaving Sota and Buyo behind in the shrine. Mistress Centipede demanded for the Jewel of four
souls but Kagome had no idea what she was looking for. She trust her palm up in order to free her self from the demon's grasp
when a mystical energy shot from her hand and blasted off one of the centipede's arms. The demon then quickly fled. Kagome
was dazed at the bottom of the well. The demon was no where in sight. She climbed up thinking it was only her imagination.
When she was out she looked around, she wasn't in Tokyo anymore or so she thought the shrine her house or Sota were no where
to be seen. She walked around the path beside the forest and that was when she spotted him. Inuyasha. Kagome didn't know who
he was of course at the time just a young boy pined to a tree with red festive robes of a shrine priest, long sliver hair,
and cute dog like ears. Kagome was so fascinated by the ears she couldn't help but touch them. Then she was suddenly attacked
by some men with their arrows. Suddenly, arrows are shot at Kagome. She turns around and sees some villagers, who take Kagome
to their village because they believe she is there to harm them. At the village, Kagome is the center of attention. Some women
think she's a shape-changing fox.Soon, Kaede approaches who through demon salt at her. When she sees it has no affect she
realizes Kagome's human. She gets a closer look and notices how similar she looks to her late-sister, Kikyo. Later that night,
Kaede feeds Kagome some stew in her hut. Suddenly, the Centipede deamon attacks the village. Kagome and Kaede leave the hut
only to be greeted by a horse thrown from the centipede's mouth. Kagome decides that since it's after her she'll lead away
from the village and towards the forest of Inuyasha, where she came from. Kaede is surprised to learn that Kagome can see
the lights above the forest, unlike normal people. As Kagome is running away from the deamon, she cries for help which wakens
the sealed Inuyasha! Kagome eventually reaches Inuyasha's tree, and is surprised to see he is alive. Inuyasha asks Kagome
who he thinks is Kikyo why she's fooling around with the deamon. Kagome tries to tell him that she's not Kikyo, but is interrupted
by the Mononoke's return. Kagome runs up to Inuyasha, who then realizes that Kagome isn't Kikyo. The deamon attacks again.
She tries pulling Kagome off Inuyasha, but Kagome has a firm grip on Inuyasha's hair, then Kagome sticks out her hand, the
remaining arms of the mononoke are knocked off. The villagers arrive and pull the deamon away from Kagome. Kaede is shocked
to see that Inuyasha is awake. The centipede then bites into Kagome's side, revealing the Shikon no Tama. Kagome tries to
retrieve the jewel, the deamon just pushes her up against Inuyasha. Then, the mononoke eats the Shikon to Tama and becomes
even more powerful, her fallen arms reattach. Inuyasha tells Kagome that if she frees him her can save her. Kagome decides
to free Inuyasha, much to Kaede's dismay. Inuyasha then kills the Centipede using his "Iron reaver soul stealer" " Kaede tells
Kagome to find the Shikon no Tama inside a piece of flesh, so the deamon doesn't regenerate. Kagome points it out. Kaede retrieves
the Shikon no Tama from a piece of the deamon's flesh. The chunks of flesh turn to bone. Then, Inuyasha steps up and demands
that Kagome give him the jewel or else he'll kill her. Which shocks Kagome because she thought Inuyasha was a hero, not a
villain.
